Welcome to Pro Guard Development's Blog!
I feel like being able to score all starts with the imagination. I remember spending hours of shooting in my back yard alone. While shooting I pretended to be playing against players . I got so good at pretending to be good in my back yard that eventually it transitioned to me doing it against kids that came over to play. I’ve continued to use this strategy throughout my career. Even while playing professionally on the night before the game I would get in the gym alone, put on my headphones and envision myself being dominant against the next team I faced.
From this video footage of me playing in Israel, you can see me shooting really deep threes against this team. In the week of preparation for this game I got to study a lot of film on there defensive strategies. They were a very aggressive team defensively. I knew that I would need to be strong when attacking the basket but also confident enough to take and knock down long range three’s due to the fact that they do a great job at clogging the lanes to the basket. So I worked really hard that week on being able to shoot the three from really deep off the dribble and in the catch & shoot stance. It payed off!!!
Take your game to ANOTHER LEVEL!
